Where in the world...

Someone asked me not long ago, if I did anything else as well as make felt. At the time, I thought making felt, part-time teaching and family and friends, with a little travel thrown in when possible, might be enough to keep one person busy.

Later, I decided, maybe I could just try my hand at collage...

C'mon Matt. I expect you to be able to tell me where these photos were taken. Or at least name the architect!

Are you going to reveal the location? The suspense is killing me :)

These images show details of architectural features of the Brion tombs at the cemetery in the town of San Vito di Altivole, in the province of Treviso, Italy. The architect, Carlo Scarpa spent 10 years building an entrance into the tombs, a chapel and a meditation pavilion beside a water pool. He chose a quiet corner between his creation and the communal cemetery as his final resting place.
