Continuing with my exploration of indigo, black and moss, I spent the past ( sunny ) weekend laying out a quilt using blocks of the above colours plus mink and lemongrass.
The overall effect is muted but strong.
I'm looking forward to completing this project to see the interplay of the blocks of coloured wool, on both the right and wrong sides of the quilt.
This quilt is longer than the last, ie. 3 x 5 40cm squares at the initial laying out.

It's been raining all weekend - a good time to spend experimenting with indigo, black and shades of green merino wool and hand or commercially dyed silk chiffon and shirting.

These five scarves are the result of rain + play.

That's one of the best hats I've seen you wear. A cozy classic wool, yet with that great silk band to take it beyond basic.

What better way to start your week than with a charming little cookie scarf! What a fun idea! The hat is just precious! I love how this look is so simple and happy! You must've made quite a few people at/ on the way to your busy work smile!
